Who is responsible

This website is published under the QE Unit brand by 50 CAP, represented by Antoine Craske, which acts as data controller. For any privacy question or request, write to antoine@qeunit.com.

What we collect

Reading the site requires no account and no personal details. We collect personal data only when you send a message through the contact form: your name, email address, organisation (optional) and the content of your message, together with the time it was sent.

Like any website, our hosting providers process technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and keep the service secure.

If you join the waitlist, we keep your email address, the form you used, the page you were on, the exact consent wording you agreed to and the date.

Why we use it

  • To read and reply to your enquiry. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering messages you choose to send, or steps taken at your request before a possible contract.
  • To operate and secure the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a reliable, secure service.
  • To email you when the newsletter and new frameworks launch, if you joined the waitlist. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or add you to any mailing list without your consent.

How long we keep it

Contact form messages are kept for 12 months after receipt, then deleted, unless an ongoing conversation or engagement requires keeping them longer.

Waitlist addresses are kept until launch. The first email asks you to confirm your subscription; addresses that are not confirmed are deleted. You can ask to be removed at any time by writing to antoine@qeunit.com.

Who processes it

Your data is stored and processed by our website hosting and database providers, and enquiry notifications are delivered by email to the address above. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads. These providers act on our instructions or under their own privacy terms, and some may process data outside the UK or European Economic Area under appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR you may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, restrict or object to its processing, and request a copy in a portable format. Write to antoine@qeunit.com; we will reply within one month.

You may also complain to a supervisory authority, such as the CNIL in France or the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK.
