Antoine Craske is a technology executive, chief architect and systems thinker. Over 15+ years he has built and transformed engineering organizations across marketplace, retail, transportation, e-commerce, B2B SaaS, manufacturing and energy — in roles spanning CTO, Chief Architect, VP Engineering and Technical Director.
His work is defined by a single conviction: technology problems are almost always system problems. The interesting question is rarely “which tool?” but “what does this change in the system — what constraint does it remove, and where does the bottleneck move next?”
That lens now drives his central project: redesigning engineering production for the agentic era. As coding agents become part of the workforce, the binding constraint of a technology organization is moving from writing code to absorbing it. Antoine calls the space between AI’s production supply and an organization’s ability to safely absorb it the Absorption Gap, and models the whole flow as the Engineering Production System — a map of where the constraint sits and how it migrates from coding to verification, integration, environments, observability, operations and governance. The measure that matters, he argues, is not lines of code or adoption rates but validated business value per unit of human intervention.
He is the author of The Systemic CTO and The Systemic CTO in Action, the AI Gap series (Mind the AI Gap and its companion Closing the AI Gap), and Quality Engineering — alongside 300+ articles. His frameworks include MAMOS, AAA/3A, MVM, Quality at Speed, the Seven Gaps and the AI Gap 100-Point Assessment. He also co-founded the open-source automation platform Cerberus Testing.
